Description
Exquisite dry red winecrafted from 100% Prokupac – an ancient Serbian grape variety, deeply rooted in the Župa vine region.
Aged for one full year in Serbian oak (kitnjak), this wine reveals a ruby-red color and a bouquet of intense black fruit aromas, with blackberry and plum at the forefront. Sweet spice notes add complexity, while the oak aging enhances structure without overpowering the fruit.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and vibrant, with rounded tannins and lively acidity that create balance and elegance.
Prokupac pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, veal under the bell (ispodsača), grilled meats, and hearty stews. It also complements aged cheeses, charcuterie, and dishes rich in spices. Thanks to its vibrant acidity and fruit-forward character, it can accompany Mediterranean specialties.
